Valley Forge Military Academy Ice Hockey
The VFMA Ice Hockey Club is in their first season competing in the InterCounty Scholastic Hockey League. In addition to the student’s regular activities the team mandates 1-2 practices per week with one day of team lifting/off-ice training. The program is open to all students in the school. Practices will enable beginner players to develop their skills while giving advanced players the opportunity to hone their skills in anticipation of competitive play. VFMA will not only prepare students academically for enrollment in their top choice colleges or universities, but also athletically in the toughest, fastest game on ice. The team currently plays a 14 game regular season schedule.
Fees: The participation fee is $2,000 for the season (September – February) and includes professional coaching / instruction, ice time, uniforms, socks, transportation, and membership with USA Hockey.
Charge of Fees will be applied to the cadet’s school account through the Business Office.
Practices are held on Tuesdays at IceLine in West Chester, PA. We are members of the ICSHL and participate in a division with many other schools in the area.
Parent/Guardian authorization for participation is required for all participants under the age of 18.
